A: Yes. Installation costs ARE COVERED for new: HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) systems.

The tax credit for HVAC is 30% of the cost plus installation costs, up to $1,500. The law specifies installation costs include: "expenditures for labor costs properly allocable to the onsite preparation, assembly, or original installation of the property."

Q: How Much of a Tax Credit Could I Receive?
A: A Federal Tax Credit up to $1,500.00 is now available when you have a new, qualifying ENERGY STAR heating and air conditioning system installed in your home.
